Senior Graphic Retail Artwork Designer

Our client in the Retail sector is looking for an Artwork Designer who can create artwork from die-lines for products ranging from Electrical Homeware/ Audio etc. NB Requirement / Core Functions: Must have worked with Die-Lines (minimum 2 years) Must have Retail Artwork design (Electrical Household item (minimum 2 years) Experience on Retail Point of Sale Time management and multitasking abilities Key Attribute Strong Grammer skills - Key Attribute Use feedback from management to improve and alter designs. Must be able to handle criticism (as the post requires different brands - IE. Different managers). Understanding of visual elements (layout, type, fonts, colour modes.) Adhere to brand CI. Adhere to project deadlines, build mock-ups, and can work with vinyl. Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work. Personal Attributes: Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in graphic design or equivalent experience. 2 - 5 years experience in a similar role as a Graphic Designer. Must Have Matric 2-5 years experience with Retail design (Retail Artwork) 2-5 years experience with Artwork, Packaging, Colour-retouching from start to finish. Must have experience with Illustrator & Photoshop (ideally the whole Adobe suite). Knowledge of design techniques, creating lifestyles and working with die-lines. Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos & keeping to the brand Have a strong, well-rounded portfolio that showcases your individual design aesthetic (of which die lines and retail artwork is a requirement) Background on designing artwork on electrical household appliances retail boxes will be beneficial.
