Senior Financial Manager

Senior Financial Manager required for well-established and dynamic real estate services and project management business in Johannesburg. Our client is a leading player within their industry and we are in search of an experienced Financial Manager, who has worked in a consulting environment previously. With a variety of local projects and others spread across the African continent, you will need to have worked in Africa previously and be comfortable with issues such as Withholding Tax, Transfer Pricing and VAT across multiple jurisdictions.Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:Commercial accounting and financial review of contracts and projectsManagement reporting at both granular and group levelMonitor, develop and improve financial systems and processes as requiredMonthly statutory accounting including audits, reporting packs, EPS reporting in accordance with IFRSStaff management and statutory complianceManagement of risk and insurance policies
A CA(SA) or CIMA qualification is highly desirable and previous experience within consulting and real estate / construction will be very valuable. The Senior Finance Manager must have worked in a similar role previously with operations and financial responsibilities across the African continent, not just South Africa. The ability to manage a team and communicate effectively ?across borders? with local teams and authorities is also crucial to the success of this role.
