As a Senior Facilities Specialist in Cape Town, you'll be part of creating and delivering amazing employee experiences while also #ExperienceTTEC, an award-winning employment experience and company culture.What you'll be Doing :You will ensure a safe, attractive, and functional physical environment for all employees.
Supporting the department's vision to create an exceptional workplace, you will develop, implement, and maintain facility programs that prioritize continuous improvement, automation, and best practices, while also working to reduce TTEC's financial exposure.You will report to the Senior Site Manager of Facilities and be part of the wider regional facilities team.During a Typical Day you will :Proactively manage complete facility maintenance of buildings/sites, including maintaining the superior condition of company space and acting as the landlord/vendor liaison.Review government regulations, renew operating licenses, work permits, and other requirements from authorities related to the business.Own transportation scope and services for employees commuting to and from the site.Lead and manage the Facilities team within the department's SLA and KPIs, including Facilities Technicians, Service Contractors, Facilities Systems (BMS), Security Team, Janitorial Team, and critical equipment contractors.Manage customer expectations and relations, communicating status and timelines for facility maintenance projects, enhancements, and changes.Implement and communicate safety and security policies, including Risk Management policies related to Information Security and Management System.Manage facility programs for disaster preparedness and recovery, coordinating with headquarters to implement the company-wide Emergency Response Plan.
Act as the point of contact during disasters to ensure safe return to operations.Maintain and oversee architectural drawings and floor plans, ensuring accuracy and currency.Maintain the database of facility fixed assets and their rankings.Depending on geographic location, serve as the point of contact for facilities-related issues such as environmental concerns, emergency management, health and safety, and coordination with relevant authorities like the Department of Labor, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Department of Environment and Natural Resources.Education | ExperienceAssociate's degree in a Facilities-related field or a vocational/technical diploma with a minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience in facilities management.
Experience in electrical, lighting, budget planning, plumbing, and HVAC is advantageous.Activities are not limited to the listed responsibilities; this serves as a general guide.
