A reputable concern in the banking industry is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. The Senior Business Analyst will report to the Senior PM/PMO Manager and be responsible for developing new/enhanced capabilities and processes for the business unit. JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for the assessing the current business environment in the context of opportunities for business process improvement, automation and efficiencies whilst reducing cost. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing the planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and support of practical business solution using structured processes sound methodologies and adherence to project management frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data analysis and mapping and creating documentation as well management of junior analysts. EDUCATION The successful candidate must have the following qualifications: BCom in Accounting JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED At least 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst with at least 2 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst Experience in a multi project banking environment is preferred Knowledge of a diverse range of analysis methodologies e.g. UML/Agile Strong technical knowledge of the system development lifecycle – design, develop, code review and unit test High level understanding of core banking systems, banking infrastructure and processes Knowledge of SQL would be advantageous Strong documentation skills for the purpose of specifications If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
