Opportunity to join our International client's in-market brand team, understanding their marketing mix, from insight analysis and brand building.Experience in FMCG with alcohol, wine or spirits required to develop, improve strategies and annual brand plans.Characteristics of emotional intelligence being an important factor for managing various teams with a solutions driven attitude.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related fieldDevelop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with business objectivesEnsure brand consistency across all touchpoints, internally and externallyProven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategiesKnowledge of the luxury / liquor industry (sales, marketing, business development)Solutions-driven, collaborative attitude and the ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneouslyMicrosoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint proficientAbility to flourish in a high-pressure, deadline-based environment requiring the need to work after hours and often over weekendsDUTIESCollaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce high-quality content and marketing materials.Ensure long term brand strategy for the region's most important market is developed, clear and aligned with multiple stakeholdersManage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocationWork with Distributor team to establish next year's brand plans and ensure quarterly plans are then executed to drive brand performance in the all important SA marketDriving the correct project planning processes and following up with Business Managers to ensure timings are adhered to, reducing stress in the systemPress Release and social media content calendar reviews and pre-approval before final sign offProvides local teams with the set of tools and executions to drive commercial and brand equity resultsEvent and activation execution review – ensuring brand cohesion and consistency and Activation excellenceCollating, reviewing and analysing marketing results to drive a mind-set of continuous improvement from a fact-based basis (and supplying Best Practice excellence to the regionBeing clear on implications of annual brand health tracking and other marketing research results to ensure brand plans reflect critical insights and implicationsWith Market Director, tracking competitive activity and performance in the market-place and evaluating long or short term course corrections requiredTaking a lead / pro-actively pushing and creating initiatives on some of the smaller brands for longer term performanceHandling all platform queries: guidelines, artwork, issues, etc.Support on day-to-day marketing topics liaising with Distributor brand managers across the portfolio.Ensuring distributor presentations and reports meet company standardsDevelopment of market visit agendas and ensuring all logistical requirements are handled before and during the visitSalary: R negotiable dependent on experienceJoin us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
