Job Title: WelderLocation: Selby, JohannesburgNB: ONLY SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONALS NEED APPLY.Starting date: ASAPJob Summary: Join metal parts together using heat and pressure, ensuring high-quality welds that meet safety and industry standards.Our client in the Renewable Industry sector is seeking a talented and experienced WELDER.Salary Range:Junior Welder (0-1 year of experience): R8,000 - R12,000 per month.Experienced Welder (1-3 years of experience): R12,000 - R18,000 per month.Senior Welder (3+ years of experience): R18,000 - R25,000 per month.Key Responsibilities:Welding: Weld metal parts together using various welding processes, such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).Material Preparation: Prepare metal parts for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and shaping.Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment, including cleaning and replacing consumables.Quality Control: Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.Safety Procedures: Follow safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe working environment.Requirements:Qualifications: Relevant technical qualification, such as a National Certificate in Welding.Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a welder.Knowledge: Strong understanding of welding processes, safety procedures, and metallurgy.Skills: Proficient in using welding equipment, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) machines.Physical Ability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy objects, and stand for long periods.Travel: Must be in possession of a Valid Passport and be prepared to travel to Germany for further training in line with the project.Working Conditions: Manufacturing plant, fabrication shop, or construction site.Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to heat, noise, and dust.Safety Equipment: Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, and safety glasses.If you have not received a reply within 3 weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful and your profile will be kept on our database for future available opportunities.POPI ACT COMPLIANCE: TOP NOTCH HR SOLUTIONS takes data privacy very seriously & are committed to protect all your personal info.
