To prepare appropriate models used for scenario planning to optimise the cash supply chain network (e.g., flow of cash between branches and suppliers, impact on supply chain when removing a key account). To provide predictive analysis based on historic view of trends within the cash supply chain (e.g., analysing transactional data and its impact on the supply chain).
Compiles and aggregates data sets from multiple disparate sources, handles and pre-processes large unstructured and structured datasets to analyse data integrity and usefulness.
Rapidly prototypes hypothesis and utilises approved supply chain optimisation algorithms, simulation and modeling and advanced forecasting tools and techniques to model complex business problems and predicts ecosystem value creating future outcomes and associated risks.
Applies data mining, quantitative analysis and statistical models to pro-actively reveal insights into shipping patterns and enable operations and client management teams to respond more quickly and holistically to unplanned events.
Drives standardisation in order to remove variables from the cash supply chain which leads to improved customer service
Preferred Qualification and Experience
Qualification:3-year B.Comm degree (i.e. Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.)
Experience:3 – 4 years experience in modelling applications and data analysis
Knowledge of cash value chain, products and processes.
