Job PurposeThe main purpose of the job is to prevent theft wherever possible; prevent losses from badly and incorrectly loaded vehicles; minimise shrinkage; ensure that the premises is secure.
Job DescriptionChecking all goods leaving the premises (shop/yard).Checking all sales and returns against supporting documentation.Ensuring credit customers sign (PODs) proof of delivery notes.Ensuring cash customers have paid for the goods.Reporting any suspicious behaviour to management immediately.Arriving on time at the post and adhering to company policies and procedures.Completing vehicle checks before it enters the premises to verify contents.Managing boom movement.Completing the visitors book daily and accurately.Upholding and promoting the company values and culture.Job RequirementsGrade 12.1 year's relevant experience in hardware.
