Minimum Requirements

At least 7 years of relevant sector experience in Manufacturing, Transport, ICT, or as an Equity Analyst in key sectors of the economy.
Postgraduate qualification in Commerce, Finance, Engineering, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
A Master's degree, MBA, or CFA would be preferred.
Experience in conducting research with economic and investment implications.
Experience in implementing research views within portfolios is highly desirable.
Ability and desire to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
FAIS RE5 Certificate or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in commerce, finance, engineering, or science.
Professional Body/Association

CFA, CA, or other relevant professional qualification.
Duties

Produce industry-leading proprietary research to generate investment views and ideas in manufacturing, transport, and ICT sectors.
Identify investment opportunities within these sectors.
Undertake thematic research and develop thought leadership pieces.
Develop and update sector investment strategies.
Conduct market research analysis for unlisted transactions.
Support the deal team during due diligence and investment evaluation processes.
Collaborate with senior and research analysts.
