About the Role You'll work at the intersection of engineering and business development, delivering tailored technical solutions that meet each client's unique requirements. With two positions available—one in Johannesburg and one in Cape Town—you'll help expand market share and solidify key customer relationships. What You'll Do Identify and engage new business opportunities Perform technical calculations for industrial equipment (e.g., conveyors, hoists) Present product solutions and value propositions to clients Collaborate with internal engineering and marketing teams Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team success Monitor market trends and competitor activity Maintain accurate records and submit sales forecasts What You Bring Technical sales experience, preferably in industrial motors or gearboxes Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly A self-starter mindset with a proven sales track record Technical qualification in Engineering (preferred) Knowledge of VSDs, electric motors, and gearboxes (advantageous) What Success Looks Like Custom solutions that meet engineering and business needs High client satisfaction and repeat business Clear communication between technical and commercial teams Sales targets met and exceeded across regions
