Sales Manager - Ladysmith

Requirements:NQF7 - Tertiary Degree in Business related fieldFinancial acumenMinimum 5 years experience in an FMCG environmentStrong people management skillsAbility to work in a pressurised environmentStrong administration skillsResponsibilities:Motivate and lead the area sales team to achieve the highest standard of excellence.Monitor Sales and KPI activities and ensure all route sales targets are achieved.Coach, train and develop Sales staff using company training and development programmesPerformance manage subordinates in accordance with company standards and policies and in conjunction with HR Manager to recruit as necessary.Co-ordinate Area account plans to ensure areas delivery towards the regional plan in the organised trade liaising with Store Managers or buyers.Review and present volume, expenditure and profitability actual/forecast vs. plan to RSM.Liaise with external merchandising services to achieve effective merchandising practices.Identify business opportunities and implement agreed plans to overcome shortfalls to ensure continuous business growth.
