Our international client is looking for a customer focused Sales Manager, this will be for a fixed term contract from November 2020 - June 2021, approximately 8 months. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate fluently in both English and Afrikaans, have excellent presentation skills and a strong team player.
Role Description
As the Sales Manager you are responsible for Executive support and productivity for South African Region. You will report directly to the Director of Sales and work closely with a team of Account Managers. You will have the following responsibilities:
Perform all duties of an Account Manager for all designated key accounts in your region:
participate regularly in productivity discussions with each of your accounts;
review of past performance and goal setting activities;
create trusting partnerships and relationships with Distributors;
provide reward incentives for Distributors who meet their goals;
educate Distributors on Companies Policies and Procedures in order to enforce compliance and minimize violations.
Develop an annual business plan to reach our goals within those markets, determine the strategy and define the tools needed for that
Develop and manage a team of Account Managers to ensure the success of the department: monitor, coach and teach the team members in providing great service to all Distributors they work with.
Optimize all communication channels (social media, WhatsApp, emails etc.), create and share content.
Collaborate with the local marketing team to ensure we provide the right support and communication that are needed for those markets.
Represent the Company by participating in distributor meetings on a regular basis: deliver company presentations about compensation plan training, corporate credibility, strategy, and other appropriate fields of training.
Qualifications
University or Bachelor?s degree
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Account Management or positions that are related to the business
Experience with People Management approx 5 years
Excellent English skills, both written and verbal. Afrikaans is preferable.
Experience in the direct selling arena would be a huge advantage

Please note that this is a fixed term contract from November 2020 to June 2021.
The successful candidate would need to commit 100% to the duration of this contract.
