We have an opportunity for an Export Operations Executive.
Minimum: Degree (Sales & Marketing related)
Scope: To manage, train, and develop the Export team in order to achieve efficiency, profitability, productivity, quality output, and uniformity of performance in line with Company Policy and Procedure. The incumbent will be required to manage several regions and will be required to travel locally between factories and internationally (Africa) as and when required.
â— To promote and enhance customer relationships locally within the group and internationally.
â— To establish and oversee the support structure for Export Countries in order to strengthen the department and create depth.
â— To partner with the Agents/Representatives in a supporting role and provide direction with regards to customer visits.
â— Create shipments and loads and inform the relevant Agents/Assistants and customers to improve customer experience.
â— Understand and react to market dynamics, as well as being proactive with implementing key account plans
â— Understand the terms and conditions of exports, as well as INCO terms, policies, and procedures for the various export markets.
â— Retrieve and provide available stock sheet reports to all our Factories and distribute to relevant Agents/Representatives and customers.
â— Extract backorder reports and manage portfolio distribution so that stock is allocated to open orders in line with various products.
â— Manage and communicate production plans to customers as and when necessary.
â— Ensure that orders / tonnage are maximized to make up shipment.
â— Ensure that customer complaints are addressed and dealt with efficiently and effectively.
â— Ensure that new products are marketed to customers.
â— Assist with documents, samples, and marketing materials to be sent to customers.
â— Liaise with factory and customer if and when special production requirements are necessary.
â— Ensure that all relevant documents are processed for export.
â— Assist with following up on outstanding payments due by customers.

Minimum Qualification and Experience
â— Degree in Marketing or Sales (Minimum).
â— Practical experience in a similar position.
â— Good understanding of sales and marketing strategies.
â— Knowledge about budget management, international trade, and taxations.
â— SAP experience and knowledge.
â— Export experience will be beneficial.
â— Ability to compile monthly reports and presentations.
â— MS Office experience essential.
