They will identify key business opportunities and target prospects within specific segments, while fostering strong customer relationships with the goal of meeting or surpassing the annual sales quota, driving company revenue growth inline with Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E.
requirements, and to perform delegated S.H.E.
tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan to meet sales targets and budgets.Identify new business opportunities, prospect potential business both corporate and private within the geographical area or as allocated by manager.Maintain and develop existing customer database.Accomplish daily expected call rates.Demonstrate vehicle of customer's choice.Verify financial arrangements by introducing the customer to the F&I consultant.Ensure correct handover of vehicle after the vehicle is prepared.Customer Service:Attend to walk in customers and telephonic enquiries promptly and efficiently.Ensure proper follow up of all potential buyers by implementing and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system according to agreed procedures.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Maintain and protect the company's corporate image, reputation and develop the company's brand.Administration:Complete all relevant documentation accurately according to company procedure.Assist with the reconditioning process.Control of used stock.Ensure all used vehicles are advertised in the various trade magazines as well as online.Handle trade papers and vehicle to pre-owned/ used department according to procedures.Maintain accurate records of all transactions.Collect monies due to the company upon delivery of vehicles.Product and Business Knowledge:Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.Keep abreast of all motor industry trends by reading and self-study.Attend all sales meetings and product/business updates.Used trailer Knowledge will be advantageous.Knowledge of advertising channels.Education & experience:Solid experience (±5 years) in the used truck business as a sales executive.Knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz brand, processes and systems.Proven track record with retail experience is critical, especially in the automotive industry.Driver's license (Code 14).Skills & personal attributes:Integrity.Product knowledge.Customer orientated.Follow through/ finisher.Self-driven and resilience to stress.Interpersonal skills (emotional maturity).Closing date for applications: 15 April 2025Other important Information:Sandown Commercial Vehicles is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
