Minimum requirements for the role:
Tertiary Qualification in Chemical or Sales or related is essential.
Previous Technical Sales experience dealing with a diverse range of internal and external customers is essential.
Previous experience having worked within the coatings or inks industry or having called on the flexible packaging convertors would be advantageous.
Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing the business to increase sales by researching and conducting an analysis of potential commercial prospects.
Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts.
Servicing existing clients, following up on technical issues when needed and advising clients of after sales services.
Maintaining gross margin levels as set by the company each financial year.
Handling customer relations and solving problems on a technical basis.
Ensuring customer satisfaction and following up on complaints.
Managing inventory and logistics.
Working with the General Manager and the CFO to prepare the division’s annual budget.
Adhering to the company’s occupational health and safety’s requirements.
