Details of the offer

Manufacturer of thermal spray coatings has a vacancy for a Technical Sales Engineer who will sell thermal spray coatings and laser cladding products into multiple industries. Based in Midrand region, to sell within Gauteng region. Appropriate training will be provided. Basic plus commission (highly competitive, substantial commission-based)
Requirements:
Grade 12 /relevant post grade 12 qualification
Min 5 years experience as a sales engineer
Working knowledge of surface engineering and coatings preferable
Solid MS Office skills

Duties:
Operate largely independently
Manage customers from quote to payment cycle
Develop sales plan and do weekly review with MD
Achieve agreed sales targets
Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions
Timely and proper feedback to customers
Remain current in terms of relevant industry technologies
