Job Title: Sales and Key Accounts ManagerLocation : EdenvaleSalary: R30 000 – R40 000CTC plus commissionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Key Accounts Manager to join a provider of hygiene solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, preferably in the building and construction industry, and experience in business development and reviving client relationships.
This position will focus on driving growth, establishing new partnerships, and managing key accounts for our product lines, including hand dryers, soap dispensers, and other hygiene solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the building and construction industry, including contractors, developers, architects, and facilities managers.Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline by reaching out to new and existing customers.Drive sales of hygiene products such as hand dryers, soap dispensers, and other related products, ensuring market share growth.Actively seek out new projects and clients that align with the company's target market and product offerings.Client Relationship Management:Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.Revive dormant accounts and engage with previous clients to re-establish relationships and secure new opportunities.Address client needs and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer service and retention.Provide ongoing support to clients, offering tailored solutions for their hygiene product needs.Sales Strategy & Reporting:Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management, ensuring alignment with company goals.Collaboration with Internal Teams:Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeting the building and construction industry.Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on client needs and product improvements.Liaise with logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of products.Product Knowledge & Training:Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products and solutions offered by the company.Provide training and product demonstrations to clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders when necessary.Stay updated on industry standards and trends in hygiene solutions for the building and construction sector.Key QualificationsExperience:Proven experience in sales, business development, and key account management, particularly within the building and construction industry.A strong understanding of working with contractors, developers, and other key players in the construction sector.Prior experience selling building-related products such as hand dryers, soap dispensers, and other hygiene solutions is highly desirable.Skills:Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer service.A results-oriented approach with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).Relevant industry certifications or training is a plus.Other:Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
