About the position Our client who owns and operates and exclusive and upmarket safari and hunting lodge in the Steytlerville area, is is currently looking to employ Lodge Management couple, viz. (A) Lodge / Hospitality Manager and (B) a Safari Manager & Venison Trader / Merchant.

The couple will be located at the lodge - accommodation (180sqm 2-bedroom homestead) and company LDV will be provided.

Responsibilities include (Lodge Manager):

Overseeing/ manage/ controlling of accommodation and housekeeping.
Management of lodge specific staff - working hours, rotation, duties etc.
Management, planning and executing of meals, weddings, events and conference
Overall lodge / hospitality management
Activities of guests, including hunting and safari's.

Responsibilities (Safari Manager & Venison Trader / Merchant):

Activities of guests, including hunting and safari's.
Butchery management / operations including sales and marketing function (venison)
Develop a strategic plan around the venison business unit
Unlock potential new routes to market
Develop process and systems to ensure efficiencies and quality standards
Develop a cohesive marketing plan
Enforce strictest quality controls and standards throughout
Preferably have a food safety qualification
