We are looking to employ a Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for the efficient operation and profitability of the Restaurant, In-Room Dining, and the Pool Terrace.
The Restaurant Manager will work closely with the Sommelier, Food & Beverage Manager, and Head Chef to provide the ultimate guest experience.Main responsibilities :Coordinate daily operations of the full portfolio.Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction.Engage efficiently and accurately with guests' needs and complaints.Work alongside the Sommelier to compile the wine & beverage list and recommend wines to guests.Ensure wine lists in rooms are updated.Staff recruitment and effective management, including rosters and overtime.Responsible for stock purchasing, managing stock budget, and flow according to the budget.Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.Main requirements :Grade 12, with tertiary qualification in Food Services Management or Hospitality.2-3 years of previous Restaurant Manager experience in a 5-star setting.Wine certification course or equivalent experience.Experience aligned with Gourmet Guide and Eat Out fine dining standards.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Comfortable dealing with distinguished clientele.Excellent food and wine knowledge.Attention to detail.High stress tolerance and ability to work under pressure.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Reliable, flexible, adaptable, and self-disciplined.
