About the Role
Our Product Supply team is looking for a suitably qualified & experienced RESH Manager who will be responsible to develop and implement RESH capabilities & clear roadmaps in order for the site to achieve its RESH objectives. The successful incumbent will be part of the senior leadership team and will be responsible to make key and valuable contributions for the success of the organization.

What You Will Do
Embody and be the role model for Health and Safety for Essity South Africa.
Provide RESH leadership and set clear RESH direction & KPI’s.
Utilize the Essity global network and /or external sources to benchmark and implement RESH best practices to drive performance improvement.
Be responsible for the implementation of systems and standards (enablers) and collaborates with RESH networks in developing new enablers when needed.
Takes the lead in the investigation of near misses and LTA incidents to ensure adequate reporting thereof & effective corrective & preventative actions.
Responsible for risk assessments, hazard identification and corrective & preventative measures.
Review & compile RESH CAPEX requirements for Essity South Africa.
Implement and drive RESH initiatives throughout Essity South Africa to continuously contribute and achieve Critical Business Need objectives.
Lead and coach team members within the RESH department while improving and managing operational processes.
Who You Are
Post-graduate qualification in Health and Safety.
Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience RESH management at a senior level within a manufacturing environment is a must.
Must have proficient skill on MS Office package.
Must have high level of analytical reasoning with great follow through.
Project Management skills are an added advantage.
Certified trainer / ability to deliver training is an added advantage.
Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Must be a self motivated individual with a hands on approach to be able to coach and work within factories.
Proven, excellent track record in RESH management, with an ability to work in a matrix organization which is multicultural.
