Reservations Consultant - Cape Town

Kendrick Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Reservations Consultant to join our clients team.The primary objective of this role is to provide exemplary service, enriching the guest experience, and optimizing revenue streams while offering expert travel advice.The ideal candidate need a strong background in the luxury retail travel industry or luxury lodge experience and demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities:• Build and nurture relationships by facilitating bookings for accommodations and logistics services.• Maintain strong partnerships with client advisors and travel agents worldwide.• Utilize and master various systems including Springer Miller, Wetu, Travelogic, and LeanKit for efficient reservation management.• Handle administrative tasks to create and finalize bookings with precision and attention to detail.• Actively participate in product training to stay updated on offerings and industry trends.• Ensure clients adhere to terms and conditions while providing flawless guest itineraries.• Continuously educate oneself on relevant experiences to address inquiries from travel advisors effectively.• Foster a culture of collaboration and multi-skilling among staff members.• Engage in effective communication and provide support within the company.Requirements:• Previous experience in the luxury retail travel industry or luxury lodge sector is essential.• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong client focus.• Resourceful nature and ability to think creatively to meet client needs.• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.• Exposure to sales processes rather than merely itinerary preparation.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Sound knowledge of Africa and its various travel destinations.• Proficiency in MS Office applications is a must.• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and independently.• Flexible approach to working shifts and schedules.• Curiosity and passion for the travel industry.?????? ???? ??????????:Please submit your CV, cover letter, reference letter, and qualifications to ??????????????????????????????????????????????????.??????In your cover letter, please highlight your relevant experience and why you are interested.???????????? ????????: Please be advised that while we value and consider all applications we receive, we will only respond to candidates with the required background and experience for the position
