The Breeder division is looking for a thorough and committed individual to take up the exciting role of Relief Supervisor. The incumbent will be required to supervise and oversee the adherence to defined best operating procedures, staff supervision and timely feedback to the Farm Manager when deviations are noticed. The position reports to the Farm Manager. The incumbent of this position should be in possession of a matric certificate and have 1 years PS experience. A National Diploma in Agricultural, Animal Production or an equivalent, will be an advantage.
Results Required
Contribute to the achievement of Rearing KPIs on the facility
Ensure that all houses and assets are kept in perfect operating condition throughout the cycle
Strict adherence to standard operating procedures and biological risk control BRC
Limiting and reducing all forms of wastage, through accurate management, measurement and application of consumables, feed and resources
Oversee and guide the maintenance effort on the farm, to achieve KPIs
Ensure that the Company is not exposed to any form of risk or loss in the area under your direct supervision
Submit reports, planning schedules and data analysis reports as required
Lead, motivate and retain a dedicated, consistent and welldisciplined team of employees
