Job Description Job Title: Relationship Manager (Property Sector and Structures)

Reports to: Head of Corporate Banking

Department: Corporate Banking

Qualification: Min bachelors plus RICS accredited qualification related to property market

UK commercial banking knowledge & experience

Strong communication & negotiation skills

Min Experience: 5 years in the Financial Services industry primarily working in the Property Lending Sector
Specific Job Knowledge / Expertise:

* Good understanding of UK's property sector dynamics and trends, including intricacies related to property types e.g. Residential, Commercial, freehold, lease hold;

* Credit Risk Analysis / Relationship Management

* Knowledge and understanding on property valuations, the technical aspects required to understand and comprehend the valuations reports produced by the valuation experts;

* Good knowledge of property sector related rules, regulations and processes e.g. Environment impact, planning and other permissions, type of leases; property insurance;

* Sound landlord and tenant knowledge:

* Fair knowledge of legal documentation and formalities required with respect to collateralization of the properties and

* Understanding of the property backed funds (insurance, pensions etc), property portfolios secondary and sell down markets.

Job Requirements:

* Responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients who utilise property financing facilities

* Assisting the Business Team in forming a more concreate and scientific view of the property sector as a part of the growth strategy;

* Produce property market updates / alerts on behalf of the business team to be shared with relevant stake holders;

* Provide strong analysis and evaluation of credit and financial data and other information to determine the suitability of UK SME/Corporate businesses for property lending

* Work along with the Corporate Banking team on lending transactions and documenting views with respect to the specific property (valuation, location, marketability, leases etc) as applicable;

* Work actively towards sourcing new viable transactions within the property sector;

* Work towards building internal capability / system to buy and sell property related transactions, including documenting the process and procedure;

* Able to independently reach out and coordinate with other banks / funds etc to sell or buy property related transactions
