Details of the offer

Rehabilitation Support Specialistreporting to the Managing Director.
The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting the needs of the internal and external customers through the execution of the strategic and operational objectives in growth, quality and people by leading, managing and coordinating all hospital activities.

Critical Outputs:
Ensure effective quality management systems by
· Preparing and supporting units to ensure continuous compliance and improvement to quality accreditation
system by identifying and closing non-conformance gaps
· Compiling quality scorecards by reviewing statistics, identifying trends and ensuring compliance
· Compiling customer satisfaction reports by conducting funder, patient and doctor feedback surveys
Ensure effective clinical rehabilitation practices by
· Conducting intensive investigations into specific patient complaints relating to clinical practices
· Providing units with appropriate resources to offer patient and family education
· Identifying trends and support management in the implementation of remedial action where necessary
Ensure effective development of rehabilitation models by
· Developing rehabilitation products in accordance with international best practice standards
Ensure the effective training and education of staff/stakeholders by
· Developing and facilitating the implementation of in-service training programmes in order to retain
competent staff
· Keeping stakeholders informed by the implementation of the CPD programme
Ensure effective marketing and relationship building with internal/external stakeholders by
· Identifying and supporting the needs for growth development opportunities

· Relevant healthcare professional qualification
· A minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience and proven leadership / line management experience within the
relevant rehabilitation environment (physical rehabilitation)
· Current registration with the relevant professional / regulatory body - OTASA
· Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
· Computer proficiency
· Driver’s licence and ability to travel
