Registered Nurse

A vacancy exists for a Registered Nurse.
The focus of the Registered Nurse is the delivery of quality competent nursing care.
The RN acts as a clinical resource and leader in a particular clinical specialty.
Sound and contemporary knowledge of the area of the specialty, together with an advanced understanding of professional nursing, health care delivery and programme planning.
Duties and Responsibility: Responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of competent nursing care during the shift for which the Registered Nurse is responsible Acts as a resource person in the clinical specialty as a result of advanced and broad knowledge and skills in that specialty Supports and supervises less experienced staff, acts as a preceptor for new staff, and assists in the clinical teaching of learners Contributes to the ongoing research, development and review of best practice in the specialty Provides leadership in the situation, and acts as an influential role model for best competent professional practice Requirements and Capabilities: Registered as a Registered Nurse with the SANC Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurses and all appropriate health care legislation Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position Ability to implement and maintain standards of health care facility required from all accreditation bodies and appropriate health legislation Flexibility to meet requirements of the workplace Maintain good interpersonal skills/ communication skills with patients, colleagues and health care team Remains responsible for own and delegated actions Assertive and Innovative Learning attitude All interested applicants are requested to forward the complete CV to ****** or WhatsApp 0616383007
