Registered Male Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Male Nurse to join our team at a premier aesthetics clinic.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-tier patient care, supporting medical procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic's services, specifically related to aesthetic treatments.
As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting clients on their beauty and wellness journey while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and patient satisfaction.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Patient Care:Provide high-quality patient care in an aesthetic and clinical environment.Ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all clients.Educate patients on the available treatments, aftercare procedures, and expected results.Monitor patient health before, during, and after procedures.Assist in the preparation of patients for medical aesthetic treatments.Aesthetic Treatments Support:Assist in the administration of treatments, including but not limited to, injectables (Botox, fillers), laser treatments, skin resurfacing, and other non-surgical aesthetic procedures.Support the medical team in preparing treatment areas, ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready for use.Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments, progress, and aftercare.Ensure clients are informed of all necessary post-treatment care and potential side effects.Clinical Assistance:Monitor and manage patient vital signs throughout treatments and procedures.Administer medications as prescribed and ensure the proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical supplies.Ensure that all medical equipment is functioning correctly, maintained, and properly sanitized.Handle medical emergencies with professionalism and provide first aid as necessary.Health & Safety Compliance:Adhere to all clinical guidelines, medical procedures, and health and safety regulations.Ensure compliance with infection control standards and maintain an aseptic environment.Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure adherence to relevant privacy laws and clinic policies.Customer Service & Consultation:Provide exceptional patient care by demonstrating excellent communication skills and attentiveness to patient needs.Respond to patient inquiries about treatments, pricing, and expected outcomes.Collaborate with the aesthetic team to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.Assist patients with appointment scheduling, pre-treatment instructions, and follow-up care.Administrative Support:Assist with general clinic operations and administrative tasks as needed.Ensure that patient records are accurately kept and updated.Manage and restock medical supplies as necessary.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.RequirementsQualifications:Registered Nurse with an active nursing license in South Africa.Specialization or certification in aesthetic nursing or a related field is highly preferred.CPR and First Aid certification.Experience:At least [1-3] years of experience as a registered nurse, with experience in an aesthetic or clinical setting preferred.Experience with aesthetic procedures such as injectables, laser treatments, and skin care is an advantage.Personal Requirements:Strong communication skills.Bilingual (if applicable based on the location) is an advantage.Professional appearance and demeanour.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.ESSENTIAL BEHAVIOURS & ATTRIBUTES:Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure and in emergency situations.Professionalism and commitment to continuous personal and professional development.BenefitsSalary negotiable based on experience and skills
