Sales Strategy/Planning
Drive category thought-leadership discussions with trade to deliver category growth.
Draft promotional grid to optimise promotional spend and ensure Regional Sales Target are achieved
Draft promotional grid to optimise promotional spend and ensure National Sales targets are achieved for National Key accounts based in region (with specific focus on Pick ‘n Pay).
Oversee the implementation of the Regional Wholesaler Promotional Grid.
Trade spend optimised, negotiated, monitored, tracked and co-ordinated.
Implement plans and tactics to achieve distribution targets and operational excellence with operational team (Pack ‘n Stack).
Competitor activity monitored
Stakeholder relations
Management of Distribution Agents to achieve 90% perfect store scores and Agent targets.
Management of Office Staff in Gauteng.
Good relations with Customers maintained
Strategic Business reviews conducted with Key customers.
Oversee Category Management of Regional Key accounts in conjunction with Pack ‘n Stack.
New Product Launches:
All new products listed with the trade
Agents briefed on new products, features, advantages and benefits
Launch strategy developed and implemented
Promotions and Trade Advertising
Marketing liaised with on media requirements to stimulate demand
Annual promotion\trade advertising grid with customer actioned
Trade advertising budget prepared with input from sales team
Pricing:
Price increases implemented as determined by management
Ensure Correct pricing on system and management of pricing claims
Pricing Monitored
Trading Term Negotiations
Annual Trading Term reviews with customers
Budgeting
Plan, update and maintain a running balance of advertising spend.
Prepare/compiled travel\accommodation and administration budge
Allocations

Qualifications and experience
Relevance Degree/ Diploma
Min 5 Years’ experience in Sales and Local Trade at a management level with strong key Account Management.
