Purpose
To implement the overall recruitment strategy, sourcing, attracting of suitable candidates. Build networks with recruitment agencies and recruitment platforms to support in the process of finding potential hires. Responsible for all administrative work pertaining to the recruitment process and successful appointment.
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):
Assist line managers with the recruitment, selection of candidates in line with Employment Equity (EE) plan.
Engage with line manager on workforce plan based on vacancies, exits, retirees and contractors.
Develop adverts and publish vacancies using approved recruitment channels.
Source candidates by performing candidates’ searches in line with the job requirement using existing recruitment database, approved channels of recruitment and employee referrals.
Screen applicants, ensure the right matching of candidates skills, knowledge and experience to the job requirements.
Conduct telephonic screening interviews with the line manager to identify prospective candidates for interviews.
Compile a long list of prospective candidates and send the list to the line manager and HR Business Partner for shortlisting.
Schedule interviews with the recruiting manager, invite candidates for interviews.
Brief candidates on the necessary and any relevant information needed for interviews and other relevant processes.
Prepare interview packs and all necessary logistics for the interviews.
Ensure that appropriate Targeted Selection Questionnaires are prepared for the interviews.
Ensure relevant assessments, vetting and reference checks are conducted in line with the company policy.
Prepare regret letters for unsuccessful applicants and ensure candidates’ application documentation is filed correctly.
Update the recruitment schedule on a daily basis and provide feedback on weekly vacancy status.
Consistently look for potential external pipelines and maintain the pipeline database for future career opportunities.
Maintain accurate recruitment database and records filing.
Compile monthly and quarterly recruitment status reports in line with Human Resources requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, SABN policies, standards and procedures, including control procedures aimed at mitigating risks.

Minimum Qualifications and experience:
National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant Human Resources qualification.
5 - 7 years’ experience in a similar position or a generalist Human Resources position.
