A young, dynamic recruitment agency specializing in the exciting field of hospitality and tourism is looking to employ a consultant to look after trade inquiries.
Candidate Requirements:
Education:
⢠Grade 12 or equivalent
⢠Office Management / HR / Communications Related Qualification is advantageous
Work experience:
⢠2 years + experience in the hospitality field
⢠2 yearsâ experience in the recruitment environment
⢠IT proficient & digitally savvy (MS Office suites, database management, social media etc.)
⢠Own transport
⢠Live in or near the Atlantic Seaboard or City Bowl
⢠Must be willing to travel to industry events and clients
Other:
⢠Reliable, responsible and dependable to fulfil obligations
⢠Attention to detail
⢠Willingness to lead, take charge and offer direction
⢠Ability to multitask
⢠Show initiative by taking control of task
⢠Excellent communication skills
⢠Friendly and service orientated
⢠Able to meet targets
Tasks (include but not limited to):
⢠Ensure that all aspects of the recruitment and selection process are effectively managed
⢠Network and build relationships with relevant industry leaders, organizations and educational facilities
⢠Build and maintain a strong database of qualified candidates
⢠Get to know current clients to ensure you can effective match clients and candidates for successful placements
⢠Identify best recruitment practices and placements for the relevant field
⢠Actively place adverts in pre-identified online and print platforms
⢠Advertise vacancies to your database on candidates who are looking for new opportunities
⢠Shortlist and screen candidates to ensure the best possible match is made
⢠Ensure your shortlisted candidate have contactable references
⢠Ensure your candidates are briefed on the job specs and requirements before they meet with your client
⢠Meet set targets and KPIâs
⢠Review and manage recruitment policies and procedures to ensure best practices are kept relevant and implemented
⢠Attend industry events to stay abreast of trends and further enhance your database and network
