Our client, specialists in online gaming and gambling is searching for a Recruitment and HR Admin Assistant. Work from home until a return to working from the office is deemed appropriate.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field (BCom preferred)
1 – 2 years of experience as an HR Assistant or related role (preferred)
Exposure to Labour Law and employment equity regulations
Effective HR administration and facilitation skills
Good understanding of HR functions and best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Computer literate with competence in email and MS Office
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to use own initiative and make sound decisions
Attention to detail
Ability to accurately follow instruction
Accountable and proactive
Ability to work on your own

Duties and responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment process by screening candidates, scheduling interviews, managing the applicant tracking system, performing pre-employment checks, and drafting employment documents
Handle the employee onboarding process, enrolment of employee onto various systems, issue out of Company property required for the respective role, schedule induction presentations, and arranging probation meetings
Assist with employee benefits administration and documentation
Coordinate the booking and smooth running of training sessions and workshops with Trainers
Ensure compliance with legislation (including COVID regulations)
Complete termination paperwork and schedule exit interviews
Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices
Facilitate and assist with employee engagement & wellbeing
Assist with general HR admin
