Quantitative Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Quantitative Analyst for a client in the Financial Services space based in Cape Town.Responsibilities:Build and present reports based on business performance within the risk appetite through analysis.Report to monitor and advise on trends through analysisManage stakeholder expectations through model build process and the systems and strategy development processIncrease efficiency of the business through automating processesChallenge model builds and ensure best practice Seek opportunities to improve business processes, models and systemsEnsure data accuracy through data analysis and testing of strategy changesTake corrective action where risk is identified in processes, models or reporting through analysis.Support the achievement of business strategyRequirements:BSc in Actuarial Science, Statistics or Mathematics3+ years experience in a similar environmentStrong Analytical, Modelling and Reporting abilityExperience in systems like R, SAS, Python and VBAYou are also welcome to contact Michaela Boustred on LinkedIn or call her on .Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
