Quality Management Systems Coordinator

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and skilled candidates for this position within the Commercial Division, based at the Uitenhage operations. The successful incumbent will report directly to the Quality Manager. The QMS Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all quality problems and food safety issues detected are addressed timeously with production. The job holder must have a National Diploma in Food technology quality control quality assurance experience with a minimum of 34 years leading a small team. Meat inspection qualification will be an added advantage.

Results Required
Enforce and adhere to all FSSC 22000 requirements
Ensure all tasks are carried out by PMEs and Quality Controllers including record completion
Drive implementation of all corrective actions raised by QCs and PMEs.
Perform routine factory floor checkaudits daily
Release of factory with production
Trouble shooting with production on quality and food safety related issues
Auditing of processing documents
Drive verification of product quality, housekeeping, GMP compliance
Daily and monthly reporting on quality monitoring systems.
Management of subordinates.
