Quality Lab Inspector

Quality Lab Inspector required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha , Eastern CapeRequirements:Minimum 3 years experience in Machine Shop and at 2 years work experience in a Wheel manufacturing plant would be advantageousShould have thorough knowledge of the Machine Shop and IATF processesMinimum essential tertiary qualification: N6 in Quality or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Quality specific training in Core Tools (eg SPC) and CSR's would be advantageousThorough knowledge of Quality standardsKnowledge of Problem Solving MethodologiesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and customer specificationsResponsibilities:Using the CMM to measure and conduct visual inspection for issuing of first-offs, SPC tracking and Capability studiesAnalyse the CMM results, inform relevant personnel on any discrepancies, raise and follow-up on containments (non-conformities), when requiredUsing measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, etc) to conduct manual measuring of significant characteristicsSupport with conduct of Routine testing requirements and Product auditsShould you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry O'Hagan at ****** shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
