County Fair, a Division of Astral Operations Limited is an integrated Poultry producer looking for a Quality Controller to join their Team.Qualifications:Matric or equivalentExperience:Sound Knowledge of FSSC 22000, GMP requirements and relevant guidelines and Quality Management SystemsKnowledge of statistical process controlThe ideal candidate would be responsible for:Maintaining the HACCP programmeManaging the corrective action systemMonitoring staff personal hygieneManaging and monitoring product flowAdhering to HACCP/Hygiene standardsEnsuring that efficient recording takes place of all defected carcasses and process controlsReporting all variances to the relevant department managersImplementing and managing the 20-keys systemEnsure daily factory cleanliness inspections are carried outEnsure daily preparation and on-time submission of laboratory samplesEnsure weekly swabs are executed and submittedThe successful candidate must meet the following requirements:Must have excellent leadership skills to manage a teamAbility to speak English and a second official languageMust be able to communicate at all levelsMust be able to work in a high pressured environmentMust have strong administrative skillsThe chosen candidate must be proactive, have good management, communication and interpersonal skills as well as problem solving and planning skillsDue to the nature of the job, the candidate must be able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.Cape TownEppingPublished Date: 02 May 2025Closing Date: 18 May 2025
