Quality Control Manager - Chemistry & Microbiology

DescriptionRPO Recruitment's client, a well-established FMCG company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Control Manager specializing in Chemistry & Microbiology. As the Quality Control Manager, you will ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of products through effective management of the Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories. You will be responsible for overseeing analytical testing, method validation, equipment qualification, and documentation review.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the operations of the Chemistry and Microbiology laboratoriesEnsure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other relevant regulations and guidelinesDevelop and implement quality control procedures and protocolsPerform method validation and verification for analytical proceduresLead investigations into out-of-specification results and implement corrective actionsEnsure timely completion of analytical testing for materials, intermediate, and finished productsReview and approve laboratory documentation, including test methods, specifications, and reportsProvide technical expertise and guidance to laboratory staffParticipate in internal and external audits and inspectionsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or related fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience in a Quality Control role within the FMCG industryStrong knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and industry best practicesExperience with analytical testing methods and instrument qualificationExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentBenefitsSalary: R950k - R850k per annumRPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
