Details of the offer

Purpose of the Role:
Manage all functions of the Laboratory, Quality Control and Quality Assurance to ensure compliance to all relevant internal and regulatory requirements.
Manage performance of subordinates in order to ensure that all KPIs are met.

Qualifications and Experience:
10 years experience in a Laboratory Environment
5 years experience in a Managerial Capacity in a Production Environment
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, SYSPRO, TRAXYS, WMS, Time Manager)
Extensive experience within the Dairy Industry

Key Performance Indicators for this role (but not limited to):
To manage and align the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Systems to ensure compliance to FSSC 22 000, ISO 9001 as well as any other relevant regulatory or customer requirements.
Integration of Quality, Food Safety, SHE and Engineering systems
To manage and align the analytical and technical services to support Operations, Business Systems and Product Development

Role Capabilities:
Good Management skills whilst adhering to standards, efficiency, effectiveness and results orientated.
Excellent problem-solving skills as well as interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent presentation and report writing skills.

Personal Capabilities:
Ability to work within a diverse team
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
Ability to work under pressure
