The ideal candidate would be responsible for:Ensuring staff is adequately trained and had full understanding of all tall tasks to be performed.Full responsibility for all labour-related issues, including ensuring that all positions are managed at all times.Management of timesheets and overtime.Full control of production processes and responsibility for maintaining production.Standards in terms of quality, process flows, volumes, and food hygiene.Continued interaction and communication production and engineering staff as well as with all senior management.Raising non-conformances.Conduct effective root cause analysis, timeous and continues verification of effective.Assist all departments to be compliant to food safety, quality and animal welfare.Ensure QC activities is compliant to legal, customer and Astral policy and procedure requirements.Maintaining and implementing 20 key principles in the QC workplace.Adhering to Astral's ethics policy.Management of timesheets and overtime.Dealing with all disciplinary matters appropriately and according to the Company's disciplinary.Monitoring and verifying all QC online checks, ensure QC activities is compliant to legal, customer.The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:A Matric Certificate / Equivalent.Diploma/ BTech in Environmental Health or Food Technology.At least 5 years' experience in a production environment.Candidate must be in possession of a PME/PMI qualification.A preparedness to work shifts will be a prerequisite.Good supervisory and interpersonal skills.Must be computer literate.Must be able to work independently and cope well under pressure.Manage staff professionally and lead by example.Must have training in Food safety, HACCP, Root cause analysis.JohannesburgClayvilleOlifantsfonteinPublished Date: 29 April 2025Closing Date: 14 May 2025
