Qc Inspector

Responsibilities:Ensure that Southey's Integrated Management System is fully implemented and adhered to on-site as it relates to all quality requirementsWork closely with the site team to carry out the required quality control activities before, during and after the execution of the relevant work scopes so as to ensure conformance to contract requirementsDrive continuous improvement in the quality system, resulting in cost savings, higher efficiencies, and improved work qualityEnsure that all reworks and defects are accurately reported and trackedRepresent the Company at meetings and any other engagements with the Client or any other third parties in so far as it relates to quality related mattersExperience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and QualificationsNACE Level I or equivalent is essentialHonesty and Integrity are critical factors in this positionGood verbal and non-verbal communication skills.Proficiency in one or more African language would be advantageous Strong administrative, organization and problem-solving skills are requiredThe appointee must be deadline driven and results orientatedAbove average computer skills are required particularly regarding MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Have a valid driver's license At least 2 years experience as a Quality InspectorAt least 2 years project experience is advantageous preferably within the Petrochemical industry
