Qa Lead (Front-End Automation) - Python & Robot Framework

About the Role:We are seeking a QA Lead with expertise in front-end automation using Python and Robot Framework.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure high-quality web applications.
You will lead a team of QA engineers, define best practices, and work closely with developers and product teams to ensure seamless software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of QA engineers to ensure test coverage and quality assurance best practices.
Design, develop, and maintain front-end test automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework.
Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications.
Automate functional, regression, and UI tests for web-based applications.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, track, and report defects using JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
Perform code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices.
Stay updated on the latest trends in automation testing and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
Strong expertise in Python for test automation.
Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for UI and API testing.
Experience in Selenium WebDriver for browser automation.
Familiarity with Playwright or Cypress is a plus.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber is a plus.
Experience in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot automation failures.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Nice to Have:Experience with performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
