Purpose of the Role Provide holistic mental health and wellness services to UFH students, contributing to their academic success, retention, and overall wellbeing.Supervise intern psychologists and support graduate development through training and mentorship.
Minimum Requirements Masters degree in counselling or clinical psychology45 years experience as a registered Counselling or Clinical Psychologist2+ years experience in higher education (Student Affairs experience is an advantage)Knowledge of HPCSA regulations and ethical guidelinesStrong communication, psychotherapeutic, and crisis management skillsValid drivers license Key Responsibilities Offer individual and group counselling and psychotherapyConduct trauma debriefing and crisis interventionsSupervise intern psychologists and their community interventionsDeliver training for student cohorts (e.g., Wellness Leaders, Mentors)Monitor and evaluate programmes; submit monthly reportsImplement mental health initiatives across multiple campuses Competencies Training, facilitation, and project managementSupervision and mentoring skillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingPlanning, organization, and time management ENQUIRIES:
