Proposal Engineer We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Proposal Engineer to join a forward-thinking and innovative team.
This role involves designing, proposing, and quoting turnkey EC&I solutions in both corporate and industrial markets.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and has a strong background in electrical and automation engineering.Role OverviewAs a Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing cost-effective engineering solutions, preparing project bids, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and interpret client needs and project requirements.Engage with clients to anticipate and offer cost-effective solutions.Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project needs.Collaborate with various departments to ensure client requirements are met.Prepare cost-effective solutions, time estimates, and supporting documentation for project bids.Develop proposals, tenders, quotations, and technical documents in accordance with company procedures.Issue confirmation orders and facilitate handovers to the Projects Department.Liaise with suppliers to request pricing and maintain an updated costing database.Build and maintain strong client relationships.Qualifications & ExperienceB.Eng or B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering3-5 years of experience in Electrical & Automation EngineeringExperience in new business development and technical designStrong understanding of engineering principlesSales experience (advantageous)Valid all-clear medical reportKey Skills & AttributesStrong planning and organisational skillsDecision-making and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagementBusiness acumen and ability to self-manageRelationship-building and collaboration skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage conflict effectivelyWhy Join?Work with a dynamic and innovative teamOpportunity to contribute to large-scale projects in corporate and industrial marketsProfessional growth and development opportunitiesIf you are not contacted within 10 days of your application, please consider your application unsuccessful.
