Property / Service Charge - Job Description Job duties

The post holder will take lead responsibility for the following:

- Service charge accounts preparation
- Preparation of annual service charge budgets
- Monthly bank reconciliation of each property (approximately 10 bank recs.)
- Preparation of annual management agreements
- Preparation of tenancy schedules and out-of-hours contact details
- Overall responsibility for property management system to include the following:

o entering purchase ledger invoices and setting up payments via the system

o generating service charge and rent invoices on a monthly or quarterly basis as appropriate

o Chasing debtors accordingly

o entering lease renewal/rent review dates and keeping the team informed of these

Skills and abilities required

- Ability to communicate appropriately with clients and applicants, by telephone and face-to-face
- Good written communication skills
- Proficient use of common IT packages including Word, Access, Excel and Publisher
- Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative, as well the flexibility to act as an effective member of a small team
- Previous property experience and a keen interest in the property industry
