Project Pre-initiation & InitiationEnsures that the project charter / project management plan is adequately defined and aligned to the business case (where applicable) and understood and where appropriate assists in the development of the benefits realisation plan (ito execution of Benefits Realisation Plan).Gains agreement on decision making roles for the project and ensures these are communicated and engaged with. Adheres to PMO governance processes.Identifies and agrees the project stakeholders and stakeholder’s groupings. Develops and ensures the execution of the communication plans during initiation and throughout the project.Prepares the project/programme budget for review with the PMO, GTI management team and Project Sponsor. Apply for funds to be released for project execution – Sponsor approval. Manages the budget throughout the project lifecycle.

Project planningFacilitates the identification, maintenance, and updates of the scope for the project - what must be delivered to achieve the project/business outcomes.Defines, structures and costs the work that must be completed to deliver the project.Ensures risks are identified and factored into cost and schedules. Project executionEnsures status is communicated appropriately to stakeholders. Works with team and stakeholder to identify and execute changes in scope and corrective actions as required. Compile and maintain SLA evidence for projects.Effective Risk, Issue, Actions, Budget, Dependency & Stakeholder management.Monitors and communicates key project indicators - risks, issues, and scope changes.Collates & assess status information. Identifies variances and corrective actions required.Identifies operational impacts (people, processes, and systems) and works with the business to ensure that changes in practices are feasible and can be implemented effectively.Identifies ongoing support needs and ensure these are engaged and in place.Supports the business in identifying the benefits realisation 'journey' - how benefits will be realised and what measures should be in place.Liaises with the technical teams to understand and agree work-around for technical issues as they arise.Plans and executes user testing in consultation with business and technical teams.Align with CAB processes.

Project ClosureFacilitates lessons learned and project closure process.Supports the business in identifying the benefits realisation 'journey' - how benefits will be realised and what measures should be in place.

Project Delivery Management (PDM)This is a role in addition to an active Senior ProjectManagement function. The PDM:Manages the quality of delivery of GTI PMs servicing the Client and identifies ways for improving it.Manages the coordination of GTI projects of the assigned Client, liaises with the Client to ensure resources and priorities remain aligned with their objectives.Facilitates Project Risk, Interdependency, Lessons learned, Benefits management, Resource demand, facilitates Client Project Satisfaction reviews.Assists Client in coherent planning and prioritisation of major GTI initiatives and projectsIntroduces the GTI pipeline projects (incl. annual Roadmap items) and their motivation to the Client for decision -making.Monitors Client Roadmap achievement and proactively engages Client on deviations.Performs Client’s GTI Project Classification under guidance of the PMO Manager.Assists with mentoring of new PMO resources.
Performs Trend Analysis and continuously improves on quality of delivery and optimisation of Project engagements through liaison with other PDMs and the PMO Manager.
