As the Assistant Website Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage the accurate and efficient dispatching of all website orders.This includes managing employees in your department as well as handling all customer service queries related to the delivery process.
This is on a 6-day work week.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the compliance of existing processes in the warehouseEnsure correct dispatch procedures are followedPlan deliveries when neededEfficient documentation process of picking slips, delivery notes, waybills, and managing relations with third party logistics partnersContinually review available processes and data to ensure maximum efficiencyExtra planning and focus given to peak periodsAlign transport requirements with the orderHigh level of customer serviceManagement of quality control and accuracy of ordersAccurate comparison of the invoice to the physical stockEnsure the correct orders are picked timeouslyQuality control of stock handlingManagement of employees in your departmentRecruit new staff when neededAttendance and timekeepingDisciplinaryPerformance ReviewsIdeal Candidate ProfileGrade 12 or equivalentRelevant diploma / degree in logistics and / or operations is preferred3+ years retail / logistics experienceWarehouse Management System experienceComputer Literate – Word, Excel, Outlook & Google SheetsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsInterested?Join our team of passionate individuals dedicated to driving success.
