Key Requirements: Mine Overseer Certificate of Competence (Required): Demonstrated expertise in overseeing mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing production efficiency. Mine Manager Certificate (Advantageous): Possession of a Mine Manager Certificate will be considered a significant asset. Project Management Certificate/Qualification (Required): Essential for effective planning, execution, and control of mining projects. Minimum 10 Years Underground Production Experience: Proven track record in underground mining with a focus on safety, productivity, and operational excellence. Preferably as a Mining Contractor: Experience in managing projects as a Mining Contractor will be highly valued. Ability to Carry a Legal Appointment: Demonstrated capability to hold a legal appointment in accordance with industry standards. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage underground mining projects from inception to completion. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Optimize production processes to achieve efficiency and meet project timelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes. Provide leadership and guidance to the project team. Qualifications and Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills. Ability to carry a legal appointment in the mining sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to negotiate and make decisions based on experience. Contract Details: This position is contract-based.
