Project Manager

In delivering 'Social Science that makes a difference,' the Research Programmes of the Human Sciences Research Council initiate and undertake policy-oriented research projects and programmes from its offices in Cape Town, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Port Elizabeth, and Pretoria.
Its public-purpose mandate is set out in the Human Sciences Research Council Act of 2008.
The Public Health, Societies and Belonging (PHSB) division conducts transdisciplinary, intersectional, policy and programme-relevant research to improve health, well-being and promote a socially just and cohesive society.
  PHSB is looking for a suitably qualified persons to take on project management responsibilities for a community-based research project implemented in the Saldanha Bay Municipality, but based at the Cape Town office.
The successful candidate will primarily manage a community based public health related research project and be required to travel to Saldanha Bay as per project requirements.
  The Project Manager will report to the SRS and co-I of the study, and work closely with our partner organisation.
This position is offered on a 24-month contract .
