Your mission Tractebel is primarily an Owner's Engineer, who provides technical, design and problem solving support to its Clients.The Project Engineers in our team work closely with Project Managers, Design Engineers, Subject Matter Experts andInstallation/Construction/Maintenance/Inspection Contractors to co-ordinate engineering efforts and solve problemsTo ensure that projects and problem solving happens within budget and on schedule, at the appropriate level of Quality and Safety.
Your key responsibilities Technical Problem SolvingTender Development and compilationSitework or Contractor oversightTechnical Quality AssuranceTechnical Interface between Client, Contractors, Tractebel Engineering Competence Centres, and Tractebel ManagementContribution to Tractebel business improvement initiativesSupporting Quality, Cost and Time objectivesPerforms and participates in engineering designWe would love to hear from people with BSc Elec Eng (Elec/Elec-Mech) or BSc (Civil).
BTech Qualifications will also be considered.This role is intended for candidates with more than a year of work experience but new graduates will be considered. Who you are Versatile, with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn within and across domains.Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skillsAble to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and in teamsResilient and proactive in fast-paced, dynamic project environments.Innovative within the bounds of engineering and organisational rules, is encouraged.Willing to travel occasionally for short-term assignments (international travel possible when the need arises).
