Purpose of the position: To assist KBC to deliver safe, comprehensive and quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice.Minimum Requirements:Matric, coupled with a Diploma/Degree in General Nursing.Must have at least 3-5 years' experience as a Professional Nurse.Registered with Nursing Council.Site Management experience or equivalent experience in clinical research, with sound understanding of clinical trials methodology and terminology.Computer literacy and SAP experience.Duties & Responsibilities:Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety.Ensure the conduct of the trial complies with the currently approved protocol/amendment(s), with Good Clinical Practice, and with the applicable regulatory requirement(s).Assess compliance with regulations and the site's capability to comply with the study needs and expectations.Evaluate the quality and integrity of the reported data.Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reporting etc.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.Skills Required:Must be able to work unsupervised & independently.Well-spoken with excellent communication skills.Organisational and planning skills.Ability to multi-task under pressure.Reporting skills.Nursing record keeping.Patient assessment skills.Relevant nursing legislation.Risk identification.Scientific nursing principles and process.Preference will be given to Employment Equity – Targeted groups, including people with disabilities.
