Production Planner

A well-known supplement organisation is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. This role involves overseeing the buying division and inventory system, ensuring efficient procurement processes and effective stock management. The Production Planner will direct daily production operations and collaborate closely with the Procurement Officer to meet organizational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Scheduling: Developing and maintaining production schedules that align with delivery dates, customer orders & inventory control.Managing Resources: Establishing the needs for raw materials & allocating resources accordingly.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and procurement needs for senior management.Monitoring Inventory: Working with procurement and warehouse teams to manage inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstocking.Improving Productivity: Finding ways to reduce costs and improve productivity.Anticipating Changes: Using forecasts and competitive analysis to predict production changes.Minimum RequirementsDegree/Diploma in Financial/Business Management.Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.Strong Excel skills.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management systems.Proficient in production planning software and tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
