Production Manager

A unique career opportunity has arisen at Hoekstra Fruit Farms, a well-established table grape farm in the Paarl area.
The business consists of several production units, each of which is managed separately.
PRODUCTION MANAGER As Production Manager, you will be responsible to manage one of the established units in a self-reliant and efficient manner.
Key Performance areas will include amongst others: all aspects regarding effective production and packaging manpower and productivity budgets and appropriate administration continuous compliance and assurance of all prescribed and required quality/food safety and market related standards implements, equipment and materials resources The following selection criteria are important: agriculturally related tertiary qualification at least 5-10 years of relevant practical experience in table grape cultivation and production for preferred export markets especially with regard to new table grape cultivars excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills outstanding leadership qualities and team building abilities well-developed technological skills a passion for the development and upliftment of people Hoekstra Fruit Farms provides centralized administrative services and support to all production units.
